Motorcycle gear.?

men and women out there.what is your riding gear.do you have leather or textile and whats your favourite brands.my every day gear is dririder jacket, dririder pants, gaerne boots, nolan helmet and fox gloves.i also have some rjays leathers for the odd occasion.

Motorcycle gear.?
I always wear boots, jeans, longsleeves, gloves, and a helmet. I have a leather jacket and chaps for cooler weather.
Reply:Tecknic or Joe Rocket jackets. Usually my all-season %26amp; all-weather Tecknic Sprint jacket, deerskin gloves, Fulmer full face modular helmet, over the ankle boots. When the weather turns... Tourmaster pants.

BTW....PatriotRider....when was the last time you saw a cow going 70+ down the freeway??!!
Reply:Actually,

On my bike, I will wear long sleeves and Denim pants, but I run a 150cc scooter, and I do not have to worry about getting my leg caught under the bike (step through frame). My speeds are usually not above 45 or 50, but I can run 60.

If you think my biking experience doesn't count, I ran a 700 mile trip to the Dragon on that bike, and was just as fast as everyone else when I got there.

On my other bikes, leather is good, denim is definitely second.

Use good sense, see what is strong, and look at what covers right. I find a little loose is good, but that may not be true for you!

Helmet: I use a DOT approved "shorty" on the scooter, but on my 900, a full facer is the standard. My state does not require any helmet, but I pay no attention to that.

Good riding to you!
Reply:Actually I have a little bit of all types Leather, Textile, Denim. I known Denim is technically textile. I wear what is comfortable for a particular ride. Most of my gear is textile, but some is more comfortable in different envirionments. My Joe Rocket jacket is much more comfortable in the rain than the Cortech Denims.

Brands:

Jacket: Cortech, Joe Rocket

Pants: First Gear

Helmet:

Scorpion Full Face (Exo 700)
Reply:no gear..riding a motorcycle does not require to much protection if you know how to ride..but a helmet will do
Reply:Leather man. Brand doesn't matter unless you are Paris Hilton.
Reply:My gear is usually whatever I want to be wearing when I get where I'm going. I do have several nice leather and mesh jackets for longer rides or when weather demands.
Reply:Leather. Period. Man-made materials are comfortable, but when abraded on the roadway, they melt. Leather was what God chose to wrap his cows and horses in, so I'll go with that...K ;o)
Reply:KTM
