You should probably go for an all mountain board they are neither too flexaxble or too stiff and are a good choice for people starting off in snowboarding as they can be used for both freestyle and freeriding. Some boards that i think would suit you are the Burton Bullet which is basically the same as a Burton Clash but a wider board. Also the Ride Decade which comes in both wide and regular sizes, and the Option Booter would be good choices of board for you
Reply:go to a snow shop and they will show u the top choices and then u can pick from there
Reply:Get a rome flag if you can, they're sick boards..I just bought another new board to mess around with, Flow Mainframe, its a good all around board, I hit jumps and jibs with it and its not too flexible or stiff..you can also just buy risers for your feet if you dont want to buy a wide board. there like 40 bucks or so....Also very important, if you buy a burton board you have to buy burton bindings.
Reply:hmmm..I live in alaska and we have badass boards and we down actual mountains and ****...having a wide board is also really good if your not goofy...but this is not a great question for the internet,,,try hitting the closest snowboard shop...
