Dominatrix?

I am going as a Dominatrix for Halloween this year. I was trying to find some thigh high boots to go with my outfit. I have no ideas other than a riding crop and a spiked choker. How else does the dominatrix look? Can I have long black curly hair or do I have to have short butch type hair? Black nails or red? What kinds of things should I say? I am going to be this because I have no idea what they are about.. (I am the more submissive/equal type) I thought this would be fun to step "outside of the box" but husband thinks I'm gonna look like ****, any suggestions so I don't look slutty..(I already bought the costume from ebay and it is probably short). Thanks :)

I'm being a dom for Halloween too! I'm doing thigh-highs as well, but just making boot covers because I'm too cheap to buy boots. I'm also doing fishnets, REALLY short shorts and a corset made of vinyl. Dark makeup, dark nails, etc. The riding crop is good, so is the idea about handcuffs. A billy club, clothes pins, safety pins... pretty much anything you can think of that looks "kinky." I'm carrying mine around on a belt. Spikes and studs look good too. As for not looking slutty... it's a sex costume, honey. That's a pretty big part of what a dominatrix is about. I say embrace it. It's just Halloween!
