One windows run on multipul systems?
try to uninstall device drivers of your previous system in that system using device manager mainly of chipset and audio drivers.drivers of plug and play device are not need to be re moved.Try and install the drivers of your newer cofiguration in newer system if it works. Some PCs can not be run with entirely same configuration of BIOS, motherboared and hard disk which may be in your previous system if it is a branded one.

Reply:You'd need to install the RIGHT drivers for all the hardware on the new machine, easiest to have them on the hard drive ready to show to windows BEFORE it was moved,

Then you will probably have to go through the hastle of contacting Microsoft about the fact it's moved to a new PC, as some licences will NOT allow this.
