A new "theme" color for my horse?

At the barn I ride at, everyone has a little color "theme" for their horse. Like my old color for my horse was lime green. He had a lime green halter, lead rope, saddle pad, and boots. Our stuff is getting faded and falling apart so I thought it was time for a new color theme. He is a a bay Arabian with a white star on his head and 4 white socks.

Colors I really dont want:

Pink

Purple

Navy blue (I like it, its just too overly used at the barn)

I want something that'll pop, so he stands out.

Thanks in advance.

A new "theme" color for my horse?
I used to ride a bay and my theme was and still is red. It pops and is very pretty on bays! Another colour that goes well on bays is dark hunter green, but its not very fun and exciting. What I did to my plain red saddle pad was took it to the embroidering shop and got a picture of Winnie the Pooh put on it, its so cute! Thats another option. Well good luck!
Reply:bright orange

bright yellow

highlighter colors! That sort of bright stuff would look great on him! I think for a bay orange is best!
Reply:RED!Bays just POP with red!
Reply:OMG GO 4 A RED!!! My horse has red and he looks AWESOME!!!
Reply:You would be amazed at how natural colors look on a bay horse! Black makes bays look stunning.
Reply:just about any color is great for bays. i personally like red or turquoise on bays. if you want to stick with lime green, you can always redye it.
Reply:I personally like the color red with a hint of shininess to it.
Reply:royal or sky blue (that way you can still have blue yet be unique) or you could try purple as you said. any of those would be really cute. good luck and have fun shopping!!! : )
Reply:I think red would look good on a bay, it can also be a very 'noticeable' color. Good luck!
Reply:Definitely red, unless there's another bay there in red, then I'd go for something blue
Reply:theres a bay at my barn and he looks really good in yellow
Reply:Go for some tangerine-ish color.
Reply:ooh, fun fun man. :] the school horse that I ride's color is magenta.

i'd say try one of these:

Hunter green

Royal blue/purple

Sky blue

yellow

Red

burgandy

Honestly i'd go to your tack shop and look at halters/lead ropes that kind of thing, and see if you can't find one you like.
Reply:Like 90% of these people have said, go for the red colors. They'll look nice on him, if you dont want purple.
Reply:An "up and coming" color is Yellow.

I have two dark bay horse's and used my friends Yellow halter on one of them the other day and it looked really cool on them.

Another cool halter...

Rainbow or Tie Dye.

A girl I show with has this for her horse. I don't know if you ride western or english, but she rides both.

She has this saddle pad- http://www.chicksaddlery.com/page/CDS/PR...

And for english bought a white one and tie dyed it. She also got some Tie Dye fabric from Wal Mart and sewed it to her splint boots and stuff so she had rainbow splint boots. =]

(She shows her horse in open shows, English and Western Pleasure and Barrels and Poles.)

Other colors...

Maroon/Burgandy/Wine (same color pretty much)

Light/Baby Blue

Green

Orange

Good luck!
Reply:Red looks dynamite on a bay!
Reply:Burgundy is gorgeous on horses like him!!!! OR a babay blue, hunter green, teal or bright blue!!! good look!
Reply:I wuld go with royal blue. It's bright and pretty and looks great, easy to find in stores! Blue looks good on pretty much every horse.
